My second favorite memory of the elf is when she placed herself on top of our intercom box. During the announcements she promptly bounced herself right off the box and nose dived onto the floor! At the time, the class I had was really sweet and didn't really need to extra behavior incentive, but it was all in good fun. One of the sweetest kids in the class ran over, grabbed the elf, and gave it a huge hug telling her it would all be okay. Now, if you've every had anything to do with the Elf on the Shelf, rule number one is do NOT touch the elf of they lose their magic. Luckily, this was in the morning, and I could recover. The elf wrote the class a cute note explaining that Santa decided to give them one more chance, since they were being helpful like a good friend should be. The rest of the week was great, and the Elf learned to secure herself where ever she landed.
Naughty Elf, getting into the candy dish! Those are of the children. Are those wrappers stuck down in the printer?!?
